First Congregational Church of Mansfield has two Endowment Funds designed to perpetuate the institution.
First Congregational Endowment
The First Congregational Church Endowment Fund is managed by the church’s Board of Endowment Trustees, with all funds professionally managed for the explicit purpose of providing earned income for the capital needs of the facility. Board members are elected from the membership and by the membership. They meet regularly to review the investment performance and work with the Trustees of the church with the funding of capital projects selected and prioritized by the Trustees and Church Council and approved by a general membership vote.
Richland County Foundation
The second endowment is held and managed by the Richland County Foundation. Its income may be used by the church leadership for both capital projects and operational needs.
If you would like to help the First Congregational Church sustain their heritage in your planned giving or estate planning, you may do so by name or anonymously. Please contact the church and you will be put in touch with a member of the endowment fund of your choice for a confidential conversation regarding options. Call the Church at 419-756-3046 or email your request for information to firstname.lastname@example.org . You may also contact Brady Groves, CEO of the Richland County Foundation at 419-525-3020 for information regarding the Richland County Foundation endowment.
Endowment is a wonderful way to create a personal legacy perpetuating the work of God.
